Product Questions
What product categories do you carry?+
Are your products lab tested?+
Yes. Every product sold at Jungle Kingdom Flower has been tested by a New York State licensed laboratory. Testing covers cannabinoid potency including THC and CBD percentages, as well as screening for pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, and microbial contaminants. We only stock products that pass all required testing standards. Learn more in our
lab testing guide.
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?+
A Certificate of Analysis, or COA, is a document issued by an independent lab that details the test results for a specific cannabis product batch. It shows the cannabinoid profile, terpene content, and confirms the product passed safety screenings. You can request a COA for any product in our store. Our
lab testing guide explains how to read one.
How do I know the THC and CBD content of a product?+
THC and CBD percentages are printed on every product label as required by New York State. For flower, the label shows the percentage of total THC and total CBD by weight. For edibles, the label shows milligrams of THC and CBD per serving and per package. Our budtenders can explain what the numbers mean and help you choose the right potency for your experience level. Check our
THC vs CBD guide for a detailed comparison.
How should I store cannabis products?+
Store cannabis in a cool, dark, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Flower should be kept in an airtight glass container. Edibles should be stored according to the packaging instructions, often in a cool place or refrigerator. Vape cartridges should be stored upright at room temperature. Tinctures should be kept in their original bottles away from light. Proper storage extends freshness and preserves potency.
Do edibles expire?+
Yes, edibles have a shelf life like any food product. Each package has a best-by or expiration date printed on the label. Gummies and hard candies tend to last longer than baked goods or chocolates. Consuming edibles past their expiration date is not recommended as both the food quality and cannabinoid potency may degrade. Store them as directed on the packaging to maximize freshness. Learn more in our
cannabis edibles guide.
Are vape cartridges refillable?+
No. The vape cartridges sold at licensed New York dispensaries are pre-filled and sealed at the manufacturer. They are designed for single use and should be disposed of properly once empty. Refilling cartridges is not recommended as it can compromise product safety and quality. We carry both 510-thread cartridges and pod-style devices depending on the brand.
What is the strongest product you carry?+
Concentrates such as live resin, shatter, and wax tend to have the highest THC content, often ranging from 60 to 90 percent. However, stronger does not always mean better, especially for newer consumers. High-potency products can produce intense effects. We recommend starting with lower-potency options like flower or low-dose edibles and working your way up. Ask a budtender for guidance based on your experience level.
What is the difference between THC and CBD?+
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis that produces the high. CBD (cannabidiol) is non-intoxicating and is associated with calming and anti-inflammatory effects. Many products contain both in varying ratios. A balanced THC-to-CBD product can offer a milder, more controlled experience. Read our full
THC vs CBD comparison for details.
Do you carry CBD-only products?+
Yes. We carry products with high CBD and minimal THC for customers who want the potential wellness benefits of cannabis without a strong psychoactive effect. These include CBD-dominant tinctures, topicals, and some edibles. Ask a budtender to point you toward our CBD-focused options.
How do I choose between flower, edibles, and vapes?+
Each format offers a different experience. Flower and vapes produce effects within one to five minutes and are easy to dose incrementally. Edibles take 30 minutes to two hours to kick in but the effects last longer, typically four to six hours. Topicals are applied to the skin and do not produce a high. Consider how quickly you want to feel effects, how long you want them to last, and whether discretion matters. Our budtenders can help you decide.
Can I see product test results before buying?+
Yes. You can ask any budtender to show you the Certificate of Analysis for a specific product. COAs are available for every item we sell. Some brands also include QR codes on their packaging that link directly to lab results online.
